General

Is SignalReact giving me trade recommendations?
No. SignalReact is an intelligence platform, not a trade advisory service. It surfaces where convergence exists and provides the data for you to make informed decisions. A high convergence score means multiple signals align — it does not mean you should buy or sell. All trading decisions are yours. Past convergence patterns do not guarantee future results.
How is this different from Unusual Whales or FinViz?
Unusual Whales focuses primarily on options flow alerts. FinViz focuses on fundamental screening and charting. Both show isolated signals. SignalReact's differentiator is convergence — it cross-references across technicals, options flow, institutional filings, and sentiment simultaneously, scoring every ticker based on how many layers align. Instead of seeing a volume spike here and an RSI crossover there and manually connecting the dots, SignalReact does the cross-validation for you and ranks setups by conviction level.

Data & Sources

How often does data refresh?
Scanner and Market Pulse data refresh every 5 minutes during market hours (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday). Options chain data is updated on the same cycle. Charts support multiple timeframes from 1-minute to weekly. After market hours, the platform displays the last available data with a timestamp indicating freshness.
Why do some options contracts show no data?
The platform applies quality gates to ensure you only see liquid, tradable contracts. Contracts with very low open interest or zero volume are filtered out because their pricing is unreliable and their signals are noise. If an underlying shows sparse options data, it likely has limited options activity. ETFs and large-cap stocks will always have the richest data.
How far back does chart data go?
Intraday timeframes: 1-minute charts show 7 days, 5-minute shows 30 days, 15-minute shows 90 days, 1-hour shows 1 year. Daily charts show 5 years and weekly charts show 10 years. Extended hours data is available via the EXT toggle on the chart toolbar.

Scoring & Methodology

What does the Convergence Score actually measure?
The Convergence Score is a composite 0–100 metric that measures how many independent signal layers agree on the same ticker at the same time. It combines technical analysis, options flow, institutional filing data, and market sentiment. A high score means multiple unrelated data sources are pointing in the same direction — which statistically reduces the probability of a false positive. The specific formula and weights are proprietary, but the principle is straightforward: independent corroboration produces higher-quality signals than any single indicator.
What is GEX and why should I care?
GEX (Gamma Exposure) measures the hedging pressure that options market makers exert on stock prices. Positive GEX dampens moves (stock stays range-bound). Negative GEX amplifies moves (breakouts accelerate). Understanding the GEX regime helps you choose the right options strategy and set realistic price targets. See the full GEX entry in our Glossary for a detailed explanation.

Billing & Plans

What does the 21-day free trial include?
The free trial gives you full access to whichever plan you select (Precision Equities or Options Convergence) for 21 days. No features are restricted during the trial. You can cancel anytime during the trial period and will not be charged. After 21 days, your selected subscription begins.

Technical

Can I use SignalReact on mobile?
Yes. The platform is responsive and works on mobile browsers. Both the Stocks and Options cockpits adapt to smaller screens. The MacroStrip shows 6 pills on mobile (vs. 16 on desktop). Charts, scanner rows, and intelligence panels all resize. For the best experience with multi-panel views, we recommend a tablet or desktop.
